Janine Wilder

Janine Wilder's roots go back to the Appalachian foot hills of southeastern Ohio where her childhood thoughts and dreams were of everything other than that of horses. Little did she realize that her career as a Ceramic Engineer (research and development) would play such an integral part in her scientific studies of the trail horse's instincts and behaviors. Today, she is an accomplished equestrian author "Trail Riding: A Comprehensive Guide to Enjoying Your Horse Outdoors", an International freelance writer and photographer, lecturer and clinician. Janine's full-time horse travels with her late husband, Jim, has taken them to 49 states and over 150,000 miles (each) on their horses Max and Smoke which has more than qualified them for their expert knowledge as horse travelers, trail riders, and horse campers.

Janine is a founding member of the "Long Riders Guild" a world wide organization comprised of equine explorers and adventures. This cowgirl is also the originator of her special new project "Beyond Natural Horsemanship". Look for Janine at a horse event near you! Check out her web site at www.horsetravels.com.
